We are so happy to finally hear the outcome of our hard work. One of the board directors of PESS has contacted us and sent us an email thanking us and informing us what our donations have done for the girls in South Sudan. Please see the email below. We are glad to have had an impact on these girls and will keep working hard to continue improving the lives of girls in South Sudan.

“Dear Mrs. Shcherbakovskaya,

I am writing to thank you for your generous gift to Project Education South Sudan. Your donation of $5,000.00 on 06/05/2019 is helping us educate young women in secondary school in South Sudan. According to UNICEF statistics, only 1% of girls in South Sudan graduate from high school. That is why South Sudan has the lowest rate of female literacy in the world – just 16%. But with your financial support of the tuition assistance and direct mentoring which PESS provides to our girl scholars, we are having astonishing success in helping those girls stay in school and graduate.

The aim of Project Education South Sudan is “Education to change a nation”. We passionately believe that educating South Sudanese women will lead to more peace and prosperity in the world’s youngest nation. Thank you for supporting our work!

This letter is evidence of receipt of your gift. Please retain it for IRS tax purposes. Project Education South Sudan acknowledges that no goods or services were provided to you in exchange for this gift.
