We pleased to announce that we held another successful annual Ski4Change giant-slalom race today, on February 7, 2020. It is also the first race of the 2020 Ski4Change Cup. We sent out race invitations to each local ski team 2 weeks before the event and many confirmed their attendance. We were extremely excited in anticipation for a big turnout!

Unfortunately, the weather was not by our side this time. A big snowstorm hit St. Petersburg last night and many families could not make it out to Snegny Resort. Yet, we are appreciative of the families who managed to get to the event and helped us support female education in South Sudan! Around 50 children had an opportunity to show off their skills today while supporting a PESS’s mission.

Despite the heavy snowfall, Snegny Ski Resort has done a great job once again at preparing the trail for our event!

Medals and presents were presented by Maria at the end of the race. We raised $2,000 from participation fees and direct donations. All proceeds will be passed on to Project Education South Sudan.

Please contact us if you would like to receive a digital copy of the race report!

Thanks everyone for your continued support!

Igor, Nikita and Maria
