We are more than thrilled to announce that today, on March 9, 2019, we held the second 2019 charity race at the Snegny Resort. Just a reminder that our goal is to help women in South Sudan graduate from secondary schools! It was heart warming to see so many parents and children come to the ski race in order to help lift South Sudan out of poverty.

After an amazing slalom race in February, we had another big turnout for this event. 70 racers competed for a noble cause! We are happy that many local ski teams around St. Petersburg have made our races an annual tradition and put our events on their racing calendars!

We awarded third, second and first best skiers with trophies and gave out chocolate gifts to all participants! We also awarded the cups to the best skiers across the two competitions this year!

Today, we raised around $2,900, which will be transferred to Project Education South Sudan! We are proud to continue to raise awareness for PESS’s cause among the younger population and their parents. We hope to see everyone at our next new event in April!

If you would like to receive a digital copy of the race report, please contact us via the contact form.

We would like to thank all participants, Snegny Resort, our partners, and everyone else for making our charity tournaments a reality!
